Google's core algorithms and its propensity to shroud its data in layers of obscurity is not something new. However, it is critical to any understanding of marketing on the internet simply because this visibility is at the heart of everything else that you do. Forget about social media and other forms of marketing for the time being. Search engine optimization (SEO) offers up the proverbial key to near-limitless amounts of traffic on the web.
So far we’ve been good at measuring volume: clicks, visits, impressions, registrations, etc. We have also been really good at measuring velocity: time on page, click-through rate and so on. What Big Data can add to the picture is really very simple -- it adds a measure of value. So that next time a goal for a webinar would be not to get 1,000 registrations, but to attribute to say $1 million in revenue.
For example, building up a big base of traffic won’t deliver much of a reward if you’re working with the wrong affiliate offers. Similarly, doing a great job marketing the ideal offers to an extremely small traffic base won’t translate into much revenue. Each of these three points must be implemented and improved together, or else you won’t see results.

Incentive/Commission is a good thing. I would go further with this concept and propose compensation for the senior executives of the company also to be on some sort of incentive/commission. This will justify the compensation rather than just pay exorbitant salaries to these executives while the organization keeps bleeding shedding jobs to keep afloat and causing hardship on the lower and mid level employees of the organization. Even in the event of termination a clause must exist that mandates a certain economic state of the organization (Before taking office and after taking office metrics) to be eligible for any sort of golden parachute.
